Summary

Within Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 users can now leverage the Shifts plugin to get information about their teams' open shifts, shifts, and scheduled time off.  When this will happen: General availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out early June 2024 and expect to complete by early July 2024 (previously late June). How this will affect your organization: Copilot for Microsoft 365 users within Microsoft Teams with the Shifts plugin enabled can now query Copilot for Microsoft 365 about the open shifts, shifts, and scheduled time off on their team.  They can ask Copilot for Microsoft 365 questions such as the following, drawing from the Shifts app data: What are the open shifts for this week? When is my next shift? When do I have time off? What you need to do to prepare: To enable the Shifts plugin, follow these steps: In Microsoft 365 admin center, ensure users have a Copilot for Microsoft 365 license.  In Microsoft 365 admin center, go to Settings > Integrated Apps > Available Apps > Deploy Shifts for Microsoft Teams. In Teams, the end user can enable the Shifts plugin from within Copilot for Microsoft 365 using the plugin flyout. The user will need to authenticate the connection.
