More Information |
---|
When a user in a Microsoft Teams Room reports an issue, a feedback event is created in the Teams Rooms Pro Management portal. This event gives managers the data they need to address the feedback or open a support case with logs from the room. These are the same logs that are created today; no extra information is added to the logs. This feature is available for Teams Rooms Pro licensed rooms. This feature only works for Teams Rooms that signed in successfully. When this will happen:Worldwide: Rollout will begin in late April 2024 (previously mid-April) and is expected to finish by late June 2024 (previously late May). How this will impact your organization:There is no change for the user in the room. This feature only impacts the Teams Room Pro Management portal entries. IT admins will now see the issues reported by a user while in or outside a meeting room in the admin portal. What you need to do to prepare:The feature will be on by default. If you want to turn it off, you must change the XML setting SendFeedbackToPMP to false. Turning it off means that no new event will be created in PMP when a room user reports a problem from the room. This rollout will happen automatically by the specified date with no admin action required. You may want to notify your users about this change and update any relevant documentation as appropriate. |
