You are receiving this message because our reporting indicates that you are using phones with the Microsoft Teams app installed in your organization. The new Teams app 1449/1.0.94.2024071104 is generally available for phones with Teams installed. When will this happen General Availability (Worldwide, GCC): We will begin rolling out mid-July 2024 and expect to complete by late July 2024. How this will affect your organization:  The application update will provide the following features: If enabled as a policy by their admins, users can now provide explicit consent on their phone before a Teams meeting is recorded.  Rich call history provides more context to the user, such as the call type and routing details about whether it was transferred, forwarded, and so on.  Enhancements in call transfer actions are available, such as the ability to search for a contact from the speed dial list and transfer the call to them. A simplified experience managing contacts is provided. Provides a private line feature for boss/delegate scenarios, giving the boss an ability to have a dedicated private line for all incoming calls for confidentiality. What you need to do to prepare: Please ensure that your phones with the Teams app installed are updated with the latest application to get access to the new features mentioned above.
