Summary
                The Microsoft 365 Activity Explorer will now allow users to save filters for later use. The rollout for Public Preview and General Availability has been updated, with completion expected by late November 2024 and mid-January 2025, respectively. No action is required for preparation.

Users now have the ability to save the filters applied to Microsoft 365 Activity Explorer and use them later.

When this will happen:

Public Preview: We will begin rolling out late October 2024 (previously mid-September) and expect to complete by late November end (previously early October).

General Availability: We will begin rolling out in mid-December 2024 (previously early October) and expect to complete by mid-January 2025 (previously early November).

How this will affect your organization:

Customers will now have a better investigation experience in Activity Explorer without having to set the filters every time they go to the page.

There is no action needed to prepare for this change. You may want to notify your users about this change and update any relevant documentation as appropriate.
