Summary
                Outlook for iOS and Android is introducing a new setting for automatically advancing to the next email after actions like delete or archive, instead of going back to the message list. Rollout begins mid-August 2024 for iOS and late October 2024 for Android. Users must enable this feature in Settings.

Currently, after taking an action like delete or archive on a Microsoft Outlook email, users are returned to the message list. With this rollout, we are adding a setting that will allow users to choose to advance to the next email after instead of returning to the message list.

When this will happen:

iOS General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out mid-August 2024 and expect to complete by mid-September 2024.

Android: General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out late October 2024 and expect to complete by late November 2024.

How this will affect your organization:

The new setting will be available in Settings > Mail > Email Auto-Advance:

This feature is available to all Outlook Mobile users by default, but users must enable the feature in Settings before it takes effect.

This rollout will happen automatically. You may want to notify your users about this change and update any relevant documentation as appropriate.
