As mentioned in MC862983 (August '24), next month, we are making several updates to the free Microsoft Copilot service for users with a Microsoft Entra account to enhance data security, privacy, and compliance and simplify the user experience.

When these updates roll out in mid-September, a few existing Copilot features will no longer be available, and others will not be immediately available but are planned to be available in the future.

When will this happen:

These feature changes will take effect when the updates to Microsoft Copilot roll out in mid-September 2024.

How will this affect your organization:

Some existing Copilot features will no longer be available, and others will not be immediately available but are planned to be available in the future.

What you need to do to prepare:

We recommend that you inform your Copilot users of these feature changes prior to the updates rolling out in mid-September.
