More Information

Copilot agents are rolling out to Microsoft 365 Copilot customers now

When this will happen:

As part of the new Microsoft 365 Copilot Wave 2 features we announced last month, Copilot agents in Microsoft 365 Copilot are rolling out now, with 100% availability targeted by end of November.

How this will affect your organization:

With this release, individuals in your organization can use the no-code agent builder within BizChat at Microsoft365.com/chat or in Teams to create simple Copilot agents using natural language instructions and grounding documents stored in SharePoint. These agents honor the same security and information protection policies as Microsoft 365 Copilot more broadly.

Administrators can manage the agents published to their organization using Integrated Apps in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center in the same way they can manage other Integrated Apps.

What you need to do to prepare:

To make this functionality available to users within your organization, simply assign those users a Microsoft 365 Copilot license.
